Tim Benepal

Dr Benepal is a consultant medical oncologist at St George’s Hospital, South London. He completed his medical training at University College Hospital London before moving to Chelsea & Westminster where he specialised in HIV. Dr Benepal carried out his oncology training at the Royal Marsden and has been an oncologist for the last 20 years, the last 13 of which have been as a consultant at St George’s Hospital. Dr Benepal’s main clinical interests are lung cancer, mesothelioma and upper gastro intestinal disease and he has undertaken and supervised numerous research projects throughout his clinical practice. Dr Benepal has a keen interest in teaching and is the Lead for St George’s undergraduate and post graduate medical students. He is regularly invited to lecture at international conferences.
