Terms and Conditions

  • Delegate places at the conference are limited and offered on a first-come, first served basis. Places cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received.
  • Cancellation charges will apply 
    • 25% on cancellation between 8 to 4 weeks before the event
    • 50% if cancelled within four weeks of the event but no more than 5 days before the event
    • 100% if cancelled within 5 days of the event
  • LCNUK reserves the right to alter the programme without prior notice.
  • In the event that the conference is cancelled or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of LCNUK and the conference for whatever reason is not able to be translated to a digital format the registration fees will be refunded in full. The total liability of LCNUK shall be limited to that refund only and it shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense howsoever arising.
  • If the conference has to be translated to a digital format due to government regulations/guidance, delegate fees will not be refunded but delegate registrations will be transferred to this new digital event. If a digital format is required we will endeavour to keep the event on the same dates.
  • Delegates are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance cover.
  • All delegates attending the conference must comply with relevant current government guidance at the time of the event. Delegates are asked to take all possible precautions against spreading infection infection and it is recommended that delegates undertake a COVID test prior to attending. Delegates are asked to advise the conference team if they test positive for COVID-19 either before or during the conference.
  • To be eligible for the member's conference rates, you must be a member at the time of registration and at the time of attending conference.
  • Only healthcare professionals, staff representing charities and not-for-profit lung cancer/mesothelioma organisations and healthcare services are eligible to attend the conference. Representatives from commercial organisations who have purchased exhibition space and/or are conference sponsors are also eligible to attend the conference subject to purchase of commercial delegate places
The conference has been instigated and organised by LCNUK. Sponsors have contributed funding towards this event in return for exhibition space. They have had no input into the agenda or the selection of speakers with the exception of any sponsored symposia which are clearly indicated.
