A unique opportunity to engage with my peers

Simiat Ojo, Lung Early Diagnosis Clinical Nurse Specialist

My experience at LCNUK Annual conference 2023, Birmingham.

The wonderful LCNUK committee, sponsors and volunteers hosted a 2-day event at this year conference where professionals across the UK came together to discuss the latest developments, best practices, and challenges within the NHS care of people with lung cancer.

The committee invited several experts in the field to share their insights and lead interactive sessions which provide me with a unique opportunity to engage with my peers and explore new ideas and tap in their wealth of knowledge and experience.

The conference had speakers and panellists. All could easily share multimedia and engage with us attendees. They indeed delivered exceptional presentation.

It was my first time attending the popular conference as I joined my team as Lung Early diagnosis CNS a year and half ago. I feel extremely privileged to be part of the success of this year conference.

The conference provides a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for me to connect with other attendees and I want to say thank you to the leadership committee, the organisers, and the rest of the team you are all valued.
