Joining us for our next webinar of 2025 is Professor Babu Naidu is an academic thoracic surgeon based at the University of Birmingham and University Hospitals Birmingham. Professor Naidu is also part of the Fit4Surgery specialist team.

Digital prehabilitation is an opportunity to enhance patient experience and outcomes in Lung cancer care and complement current prehabilitation services. We present the key principles of prehabilitation, show how they can be delivered digitally, strategies to avoid digital exclusion, promising early results and progress of an ongoing phase 3 randomised clinical trial - Fit4Surgery.

    Professor Babu Naidu is an academic thoracic surgeon based at the University of Birmingham and University Hospitals Birmingham. He is lead for Lung cancer screening in Birmingham, a renowned international expert in Enhanced recovery after Surgery and has codeveloped, Digital app-based solutions for health care delivery. He is a lead for cardiothoracic research at the Royal College of Surgeons and is currently driving the thoracic surgery priority setting partnership in Thoracic Surgery.
